"On the Water" Project

The "On the Water" Project, a Corporate Charitable Foundation, is the philanthropic arm of the Maritime Arts Gallery and was established to foster the preservation of our maritime heritage, preserve our coastal environment and to promote maritime activities to youth, special needs and physically challenged persons.

The Maritime Arts Gallery will donate 10% of net profits of every sale to the "On the Water" Project which will distribute funds to support specialized groups within the non-profit maritime community.

Our Founder, Michael Florio, from an early childhood, was always "On the water". It meant more then just three words or a location.  "On the water" was a life-style, a sense of "being one with the water" that is difficult to understand without an almost everyday contact with the sea. We strive to foster and push forward that lifestyle with the appreciation of, education of and preservation of our beautiful shores and our maritime heritage. Maritime Arts Gallery
