Scarse circa 1849 Schooner Yacht Half-Model

This somewhat rare circa late 1840's schooner half-model could be a New York, clipper-bowed two-masted  schooner yacht or perhaps a pilot boat. The vessel has a wine-glass transom, low sheer line and a beam forward of the amidships.  The model is constructed from six lifts and is pegged together. It retains its fine, original finish.
